3 Billion Seconds

25th May @ 2.30pm, The Little Theatre Festival, East Village
"When it comes to the 3 F words. Food. Fuel. And Freshwater. We are fucked. Fucked. And fucked. And we are getting more fucked, the more fucking, people are doing."
Written by Maud Dromgoole (Mary's Babies, VAULT 2018) and directed by Bethany Pitts (Fuck You Pay Me, VAULT 2018, People's Choice Award), 3 Billion Seconds is a funny, macabre love story.
Population Matters activists Daisy and Michael want to save the world. And all they want you to do is not have a baby. Do you know that a baby born in Britain today will live an estimated 3 billion seconds? And be responsible for 160 times the greenhouse gas emissions as a baby born in Ethiopia?
They do. Daisy and Michael know a lot of things about population. But now they are pregnant. And they don't know what to do. How can you offset 3 billion seconds of life?
